Turning attention into momentum for GalaxEye

GalaxEye is a space-tech company building satellites that can see through clouds and in darkness. The company began by testing its proprietary OptoSAR sensor technology on drones and high-altitude platforms, before taking the leap to space, launching its first satellite and setting up a satellite factory along the way. CoreVoice was hired in late 2024, well before its first launch.

Space is a sector that captures people's imagination. Rockets, satellites, and the idea of an eye in the sky naturally generates eyeballs. But that attention creates its own trap - it gets harder to convert that attention into real sales conversations and momentum. Behind the scenes, space-tech companies have to work hard in comms/marketing and sales - in building relevant audiences, creating meaningful engagement, explaining highly technical concepts and future applications, and in the operational work of attending events, making presentations, and building relationships.

GalaxEye was introducing a new sensor technology and dataset - OptoSAR. The team had to solve for naming and positioning, and also helping audiences understand what the new dataset and platform would look like, and how to think about the entirely new set of applications it enabled.

The timing added another layer of complexity: the Indian government had opened the space sector to private companies in 2020, and a wave of new companies had opened up. So one had to work hard to stand out.

Foundations

Marketing 101

Tech teams that grow quickly, and in multiple directions at once, tend to run into the same problem: their communications and marketing functions can't keep pace. And such was the case in GalaxEye when we entered. For the first few quarters, we focused on building internal trust and setting up a reliable service desk. Anyone at GalaxEye could come to us with a request and we would assure delivery. This could be an email signature, a t-shirt design, a technical brochure, a gift for a visiting dignitary, an event kit... Doing this well required us to understand the team, the technology, and the industry itself.

The next step was upgrading GalaxEye's website with an elevated design language and simple explanations of complex concepts. This gave the company an online home it could confidently share with the world. Alongside this, we upgraded their sales kit and event experience.

Positioning

Finding the narrative

Once the basic fundamentals were set, we tackled the bigger challenge: how do you introduce a new dataset to the world, and frame it in a way that generates interest and sales before it is even available?

Working closely with GalaxEye's founders, we tested multiple messaging approaches. The one that worked best was surprisingly simple, and evocative.

Campaign line

“Do you know any place on Earth that doesn't have clouds?”

The line drew attention to one of conventional satellite imaging's biggest limitations - optical imagines are simply not available reliably. This set up the conversation for GalaxEye's OptoSAR technology, which produces human-readable images with clouds removed. Over time, this became the anchor for a broader set of communication pillars that GalaxEye could return to across every conversation.

The Launch

Launch of Mission Drishti

The high point of the engagement was the launch of Mission Drishti. The goal was to generate as much attention on GalaxEye as possible, so that the moment would fill the pipeline with real sales and talent inquiries, not just headlines.

We built the mission's identity, including the mission patch and the designs built around it: merchandise, posters, signage. We also created ramp-up content over several months, including a build-in-public video series.

During launch week, we went all-in on social media and PR, working with a partner agency. The impact exceeded expectations: GalaxEye's media announcements drew replies from both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Elon Musk, a clear signal of how far the moment traveled.

Sales inquiries continued arriving for weeks afterward.

Ownership

All the things that get missed

As GalaxEye's marketing team, CoreVoice also took on the things that most agencies simply ignore.

  • In-office physical spaces: experience centre, office décor
  • Employee branding: talent showcase and more
  • Gifts for occasions, internal and external
Result

The outcome

By pairing a differentiated narrative with full operational ownership of every audience touchpoint - website, events, office experience, and cross-team service support, CoreVoice helped GalaxEye convert the natural fascination with space tech into real business momentum. That story built real pipeline, and culminated in a launch moment with national and global reach.
